  • Language & Region Settings

    Overview

Language & Region controls the active Send Listy language and the default currency used for lists that support currency-related fields.

    Change language or currency

    1. Open Settings → Language & Region.
    2. Select your preferred app language from Default language.
    3. Select the currency you want Send Listy to use by default from Default currency.

    Language-aware features

Language-aware Send Listy features can react to the active language. For example, Video Tutorials reloads its tutorial library for the current language and updates its interface direction and labels.

  • Notifications in Settings

    Overview

The Notifications section in Settings provides a shortcut to the Send Listy notification inbox.

    When signed in

The card shows the current notification-related count and opens the notification inbox.

    When signed out

Settings indicates that you need to sign in to view notifications.

  • Help & About

    Overview

Help & About connects Settings to the Send Listy user guide and displays application information.

    Send Listy user guide

Select Send Listy user guide to open the configured Documentation destination. This is the official help source for creating, sending, and managing lists.

    Notes

The Documentation system is the official product-help source. Ask Listy is designed to retrieve answers from that same documentation rather than maintaining a separate set of manually coded answers.

  • Send Listy Plans

    Overview

Send Listy maintains the active plan catalog. The standard seeded catalog contains Free, Personal Yearly, Family Yearly, and Business Yearly.

    Account counts

    • Free — one account.
    • Personal Yearly — one account.
    • Family Yearly — up to five accounts in the standard seeded definition.
    • Business Yearly — up to twenty accounts in the standard seeded definition.

    Pricing and public presentation

The live price, offer presentation, public feature bullets, plan visibility, and some plan settings are administrator-managed. The Plans page is the authoritative place to see the price currently offered to you. Checkout uses the current plan definition and current displayed price rather than an old hard-coded catalog price.

    Limits and features

Plans can differ in list limits, storage, item limits, participant limits, attachments, quotas, premium templates, advanced sharing, AI features, team features, group assignment, seat management, and business features. The current plan comparison reflects the active plan definitions.

  • Upgrade a Paid Plan

    Overview

Payment-managed paid plan changes use an explicit confirmation flow. No plan change is made merely by opening the preview.

    Steps

    1. Open Plans from My Plan.
    2. Choose a higher paid plan.
    3. Review the current plan, new plan, current target price, and upgrade policy.
    4. Acknowledge the billing notice.
    5. Select Confirm Upgrade.

    Billing behavior

For the current payment-provider flow, the upgrade takes effect immediately. The payment provider calculates the prorated difference for the remaining billing period and may charge that difference to the payment method immediately.

    Validation

Send Listy checks the target plan and current seat usage before showing the confirmation and checks them again when you confirm.

  • Family and Business Plan Members

    Overview

Multi-account plans use seats. The plan owner counts as one seat, and active sponsored members use additional seats up to the plan limit.

    For the plan owner

My Plan shows Members & Invitations, seat usage, the owner row, active member rows, pending invitations, and member-management actions when those features are enabled.

    For a sponsored member

A sponsored member can see that membership is Included by plan owner. A member whose own direct plan is Free can inherit the active Family or Business plan scope. A user with another non-Free direct plan keeps the direct plan scope instead of silently consuming sponsored paid access.

  • Remove a Member from a Shared Plan

    Overview

The plan owner can use Remove Access for an active sponsored member.

    What happens

The sponsored Family or Business plan access ends and the seat becomes available again. Pending invitations for the same removed member or email on that subscription are cancelled to prevent an old invitation from immediately restoring access.

    What is not deleted

Removing plan access does not delete the member’s personal Send Listy account, lists, or personal data.

  • Quick Add

    Overview

Quick Add is designed for adding many normal items to the list you are already editing. Each non-empty line becomes one item.

    When to use Quick Add

Use Quick Add when you already have a set of item names in plain text and want to append them to the current list without creating each item separately.

    Steps

    1. Open the list in the List Editor.
    2. Scroll to the Quick Add section near the end of the item-addition area.
    3. Type or paste the items, with one item on each line.
    4. Check the count shown in the Quick Add header.
    5. Select Add Items.

    What happens next

Send Listy trims each line, ignores empty lines, creates a normal item for every remaining line, adds the new items to the current list, and clears the Quick Add box.

    Notes

Quick Add does not create a separate list. To create a new list directly from pasted lines, use Paste a List instead.

  • Payment Records and Refunds

    Payment records

Send Listy records the payment and checkout information needed for billing operations and can expose the signed-in user’s own transaction records.

    Refunds

Refund processing is handled through Send Listy billing and the configured payment provider. The current My Plan experience does not provide a public self-service Refund button; refund handling is an administrative/payment-provider operation.

    Notes

A refund event and a user’s subscription/entitlement state are separate responsibilities. Send Listy records the financial event separately from the resulting subscription state.

  • Paste a List

    Overview

Paste a List turns plain text into a new Send Listy list. It is intended for text where each item is on its own line.

    Steps

    1. Open Paste a List.
    2. Enter a list name, or leave the name empty to use the default New List name.
    3. Choose a List Type. A type is required before the list can be created.
    4. Paste or type the items, one per line.
    5. Select Preview. Send Listy shows the parsed item count and the first items in the preview.
    6. Select Create list.

    What happens next

Send Listy removes blank lines, trims whitespace, removes common leading bullet markers such as -, * and •, and uses the remaining lines as normal items. The Paste a List flow accepts up to 250 parsed lines in one operation.

    Notes

After creation, the new list opens in the List Editor so you can review or change it. Paste a List creates a new list; Quick Add adds items to the list currently being edited.
