  • Share a List

    Overview

    The Share List panel controls the content, format, permission, and channel used to send a list.

    Choose what to share

    • Full List sends the complete list.
    • Selected items is available when the list currently has selected items and sends only that selection.

    Then choose Interactive List or Text Only.

    Choose the permission

    • View only
    • Check items
    • Collaborate

    The permission applies to the interactive sharing flow.

    Sharing channels

    Primary options can include WhatsApp, iMessage, Send to Send Listy User, and Copy Link. Other Sharing Options can include Telegram, SMS, Email, Messenger, QR Code, Print / PDF, and Share Anywhere. The exact options shown depend on which sharing channels are enabled.

    For signed-in owners, the Share List panel also provides controls to disable or regenerate the sharing link. Regenerating a link stops the previous short link from working and creates a new one.

  • Share a List with iMessage

    Overview

    The iMessage option prepares the current Send Listy content and passes the prepared message to the device messaging handler.

    Steps

    1. Open Share List and select Send via iMessage.
    2. Choose whether to Include list link.
    3. If the list has selected items, choose Selected items only or Entire list.
    4. Optionally enable Protect link with 4-digit code and enter exactly four digits.
    5. Select Continue.

    4-digit protection

    The code is not inserted into the link and must be provided to the recipient separately.

    What happens next

    Send Listy saves the sharing settings, builds the message, records the iMessage sharing action, and sends the prepared body to the device messaging handler.

  • Invitation and Payment Privacy Safeguards

    Plan invitations

    • Invitation tokens are signed; raw long random tokens are not stored as the invitation identity.
    • Invite codes exclude ambiguous characters.
    • Invitations expire and become one-use after acceptance.
    • Targeted invitations are restricted to the intended account or email.
    • Exact-user search requires an exact email address or username and is rate-limited.
    • Invitation QR codes are generated locally in the browser instead of sending the invitation URL to an external QR service.

    Payment processing

    Payment operations use server-side permission and request checks, current plan pricing, verified provider callbacks, duplicate-event protection, and secret redaction. Payment-provider credentials are kept inside the billing integration rather than exposed to the general account interface.

    Scope

    These are safeguards supported by the current Send Listy implementation. They do not replace the site’s legal Privacy Policy, payment-provider terms, or other legal disclosures.

  • Print a List or Save It as PDF

    Overview

    Print / PDF creates a standalone print layout for the current list and opens the print dialog.

    Steps

    1. Open the list and open its sharing options.
    2. If you want only specific items, select those items and use the selected-items sharing scope.
    3. Choose Print / PDF from the available sharing options or More options.
    4. Complete the action in the print dialog. If your browser or device provides a PDF destination, you can use it there.

    What is included

    The print document includes the Send Listy list title, list type, scope, completion summary, progress, and printable list content. When selected-items scope is active and items are selected, only the selected normal items are printed; otherwise the full list is printed.

    Troubleshooting

    If a new print window cannot be opened, Send Listy contains an isolated iframe fallback that attempts to print the same standalone document.

  • Send Listy Settings

    Overview

    Settings brings the main Send Listy preferences into one screen. The available sections in Send Listy are Account, Lists & Sending, Home & Widgets, Notifications, Appearance, Storage & Sync, Language & Region, and Help & About.

    Find a setting

    1. Open Settings from Send Listy.
    2. Choose a section from the Settings navigation, or use Search settings.
    3. Change the setting you need. Settings that use switches or selectors apply through their own control.

    The Settings search filters the visible settings sections using the text currently shown in each section.

    Notes

    Some sections depend on your account state or on other Send Listy features. For example, the Notifications section can ask you to sign in before opening the notification inbox.

  • Lists & Sending Settings

    Overview

    The Lists & Sending section stores preferences used by the Send Listy sharing flow.

    Options

    • Default sharing app shows WhatsApp in the current Settings interface.
    • Send selected items only prefers the items you selected when a selection exists.
    • Include interactive link controls whether the sharing flow includes a Send Listy link for recipients.

    Notes

    The Share List panel can still provide its own scope, format, permission, and channel choices. See Share a List for the complete sharing flow.

  • Personalize Home from Settings

    Overview

    Home & Widgets lets you personalize the parts of Home that the administrator has made user-controllable. the published Send Listy Home layout still defines which sections exist, their default arrangement, and which sections are locked.

    Change Home

    1. Open Settings → Home & Widgets.
    2. Use the visibility switch beside an allowed section to show or hide it.
    3. Use the order controls to move an allowed section up or down among the user-controllable positions.
    4. If you want to discard your personal Home override, select Use Admin Layout.

    Administrator-controlled sections

    A locked row is controlled by the administrator. It cannot be hidden or reordered from personal Settings. Personal ordering never takes ownership of administrator-only sections.

    Where the preference is stored

    Your personal Home arrangement is stored on the current browser/device. It is separate from the account synchronization used for lists.

  • Appearance Settings

    Overview

    Appearance controls how Send Listy is displayed in the current browser.

    Options

    • Text size — choose Small, Medium, or Large.
    • Dark mode — switch between the light and dark Send Listy appearance.
    • Green browser bar — apply the Send Listy theme color to supported browser or web-app chrome.

    Preference storage

    These appearance preferences are stored on the current browser/device and are applied immediately.

  • Storage & Sync Settings

    Overview

    The Storage & Sync section displays the attachment-storage configuration used by the current Send Listy installation.

    What it shows

    • Attachment storage — the current attachment-storage mode.
    • Attachment limits — the current maximum attachments per list and per item.

    Notes

    This section is separate from account list synchronization. For list synchronization between devices, see Sync Lists Across Devices.
