  • Troubleshoot Print / PDF

    Check the share scope

If selected-items scope is active and items are selected, Print / PDF prints the selected normal items. Otherwise it prints the full list.

    Check the print window

Send Listy first attempts to open a standalone print document. If a new print window cannot be opened, Send Listy contains an isolated iframe fallback for the same print document.

See Print a List or Save It as PDF.

  • A QR Code Opens an Old or Wrong Link

    Why this happens

The QR code represents the sharing URL that existed when the code was generated. If the list owner later regenerates the sharing link, the old URL is no longer the current sharing identity.

    Fix

Open the current list sharing controls and generate a new QR code for the current sharing URL.

  • A Home Section Is Missing or Cannot Be Reordered

    Check administrator control

the Send Listy Home layout decides which sections exist and which positions are locked. A locked section cannot be hidden or reordered from personal Settings.

    Check personal preferences

In Settings → Home & Widgets, confirm that the section is visible and review its order among the user-controllable slots.

    Reset personal Home preferences

Use Use Admin Layout to discard the current browser’s personal Home override and return to the administrator-defined layout.

  • A Plan Change Is Unavailable

    Check seat usage

A downgrade is blocked when the target plan supports fewer accounts than the number of seats currently in use.

    Check downgrade timing

payment-provider-managed downgrades can be subject to the configured minimum active period. If the account is not yet eligible, Send Listy blocks the change until the eligible date.

Check whether the plan is manual

A manual subscription does not use payment-provider self-service plan-change controls. Manual downgrades are submitted for administrator review.

    Check account access

Paid plan operations require the correct signed-in Send Listy account and the current plan/subscription context.

  • Cancel or Resume Automatic Renewal

    Cancel at Period End

Cancel at Period End turns off automatic renewal without ending the current paid access immediately. Your current plan remains active until the current period end.

    Resume Renewal

If cancellation has been scheduled and the provider still allows the subscription to continue, Resume Renewal restores automatic renewal.

    Where to manage renewal

For payment-managed subscriptions, the Billing & renewal area is shown in My Plan when the Send Listy billing system lifecycle controls are available.

    Manual plans

Manual plans show Manual renewal. Billing and automatic renewal controls are intentionally unavailable because those plans are managed by a Send Listy administrator rather than by the payment provider.

  • Failed Renewal and Grace Period

    Overview

Send Listy has a subscription lifecycle for failed automatic renewals. Failure does not use the same lifecycle as an intentional Cancel at Period End request.

    Grace

When the paid period ends after a failed automatic renewal, the subscription can enter a grace state. During grace, the plan remains effective until the configured grace period ends.

    After grace

If the subscription is not recovered, the lifecycle can move to expiry. My Plan can display the current renewal state, including Payment grace period when applicable.

  • Share a List with WhatsApp

    Overview

WhatsApp sharing prepares the current Send Listy content and opens WhatsApp with the prepared message.

    Steps

    1. Open Share List and select Send via WhatsApp.
    2. Leave Include list link enabled if you want the message to contain the Send Listy link. Turn it off if you want to send the message content without the link.
    3. If the list has selected items, choose Selected items only or Entire list.
    4. Optionally enable Protect link with 4-digit code and enter exactly four digits.
    5. Select Continue.

    4-digit protection

The access code is not added to the link. Send Listy explicitly requires the code to be sent to the recipient separately.

    What happens next

Send Listy saves the current sharing settings, prepares the message, records the send action, and opens the WhatsApp sharing URL.

  • Share a List with a QR Code

    Overview

The QR Code option generates a scannable code for the same Send Listy sharing link used by the list.

    Steps

    1. Open the list sharing controls.
    2. Open Other Sharing Options or More options, depending on the sharing surface you are using.
    3. Select QR Code.
    4. Show the generated code to the recipient so they can scan it and open the Send Listy link.

    Notes

The generated QR code represents the list’s sharing URL. If the sharing URL changes later, such as after regenerating the link, a newly generated QR code should be used for the new URL.

  • Sync Lists Across Devices

    Overview

Send Listy supports account-based list synchronization. The Settings sign-in flow describes Google or Apple sign-in as a way to access and sync your lists across devices.

    Requirements

Use the same Send Listy account on the devices that should share the same synced list data.

How deletion sync works in Send Listy

For lists already synchronized with your account, a deletion is treated as authoritative. Send Listy keeps a deletion record during synchronization so an older device does not recreate a list that was deleted on another device.

If a local copy was previously synchronized but no longer exists in the current account data, Send Listy removes that stale copy. A truly local list that has never been synchronized is preserved instead of being mistaken for a remotely deleted list.

    Troubleshooting

If two devices do not show the same saved lists, first confirm that both are signed in to the same Send Listy account. Local-only unsynced lists and account-synced lists are intentionally treated differently.

  • What Are To do Steps?

    Overview

To do Steps is a dedicated list type for work that should be followed in stages. Phases organize the process; steps are the actionable items inside those phases.

    Structure

A new manual To do Steps draft starts with one phase and three starter steps. The model always keeps at least one phase heading.

    Progress

Progress is calculated from actionable steps. Completed steps count toward the overall percentage, and each phase also has its own completed/total progress.

    Supported details

The To do Steps model supports an introduction, estimated time, difficulty, phase descriptions, step descriptions, warnings, step images, video links, notes, attachments, external links, and an optional linked checklist.
