Feature: List Types

Overview

A list type gives a new list its starting purpose and presentation. You can choose a type from Home or change the type while working with a draft when that control is available.

Built-in list types

Send Listy includes Custom List, Note, To do Steps, Delivery List, Home, Work, Daily Tasks, Shopping, Travel, School, Events, and Team List.

How to choose

• Use Note when the main content is a memo rather than a checklist.
• Use To do Steps for phased, sequential work with steps and progress.
• Use Team List when you want participants and task assignment.
• Use Shopping, Travel, School, Home, Work, Daily Tasks, Events, or Delivery as purpose-specific starting types.
• Use Custom List when none of the built-in purposes fits.

Notes

The editor can still expose optional list fields and optional item fields independently of the chosen type, so a type is a starting structure rather than a permanent restriction on every field.
